The Los Angeles Archivists Collective (LAAC) was founded in 2014 and currently includes a membership base of approximately 900+ archivists, librarians, students, information professionals, and others who have a strong interest in the archival field.
Inspired by community-driven organizations like The Archivists Round Table of Metropolitan New York (ART), Archivists of Metro D.C., and the The Women’s Center for Creative Work (WCCW), LAAC aims to bring the Los Angeles-area archives community together to discuss, collaborate, connect, and support each other.
